In order to enhance the practical aspect and link educational outcomes to the labor market, the College  of Business hosted a specialized lecture for students majoring in Financial Technology (FinTech) within the course Fundamentals of Financial Technology, presented by Mr. Qais Zureik from RS2, one of the leading companies in electronic payment solutions and systems. 

The lecture addressed the practical aspects of digital payment systems, focusing on the ISO 8583 standard used in financial messages and card transaction processing. The structure of financial messages and the most important fields and their role in linking banks, payment companies and global card networks were reviewed. 

The lecture included real-world examples from the job market, which helped students understand the practical applications of financial technology and linked theoretical concepts to the actual requirements of the modern FinTech sector, thus enhancing their professional readiness and keeping pace with the rapid developments in this field.
